They come with 4 brackets which makes them very secure even though the cords aren't connected directly from the bottom of each slat like most other faux blinds. It gets a bit heavy when lowering or raising these but it's not too difficult either way!

I thought 2 inch slats would be a bit heavy for a cordless option but they are easily raised and lowered with just the slightest touch. So far, I've never had them crooked.
